Everyone keeps telling me when they think our baby will be born and what they think this or that will be..!

So I thought for fun... it would be cool to see who is actually the closest!!!

I set up an account where you can enter your guesses. You do NOT need to register for the site or even give your email if you don't want to!!

37 Weeks Update

Monday, December 22, 2008

Our baby is now full-term! This means that if she was to arrive now, her lungs should be fully mature and ready to adjust to life outside of mommy, even though my due date is still three weeks away.

We are really hoping that she stays in the belly for a while longer! We don't want to crowd Myah's Birthday! Although at this point in Myah's life I don't think she would mind too much... later on is a different story!!

The doctor pretty much told us that she could be born anytime between now and her due date... although we caught on to some hinting that she may not cook much longer! She is still head down and she was measuring a week smaller than the last appointment... No she is not shrinking, she just dropped lower into my pelvic bone... One step closer to getting my baby girl!!

I gained a more weight than I should have... opps! But I tend to always gain my weight (or should I say the babies gain) during the last month!! So it's a good thing I'm ready for another big fat baby!!!

Christmas Program

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

Tonight Caleb had his Christmas Program at school! They have been working really hard at school practicing and getting ready for it! I was so proud of him! He wasn't at all shy like usual... NOPE he was having a good time!!

Even though there was so many people that showed up... He was able to spot Nana and I standing in the back row... Then gave us a great BIG smile!

Unfortunately, David & Myah did not get to come. Myah wasn't feeling well and needed to get checked out by her doctor. And her doctors appointment was at the same exact time as Caleb's show. We did record it and we all watched it on TV as soon as we got back home!!

Myah also thought Caleb looked very nice! She covered her mouth in owe seeing her big brother all dressed up with a tie on!!

Myah has her Christmas Program coming up soon and she will be wearing a pretty Christmas dress!!

Baby Dance Video

Here is our little girl dancing around in my belly at 36 weeks!! She has always been really strong... makes me wonder, I sure do hope she is still a girl!!

I was just laying on the couch last night not being able to sleep and she started going nuts. So I grabbed the camera!

4 More Weeks

Monday, December 15, 2008

Just four more weeks until my due date is here. I am both excited and not excited! Hormones! Right!?

David and I have disused things and decide that we are done having kids after this one. So that means this is my last 4 weeks of being pregnant, EVER!!! It's sad to think in just four more weeks... I will not be pregnant anymore! Oddly, I am feeling a little down about it... It took me a while to get used to my pregnant body. And now that I am, it's almost over! I'll miss feeling the squirms, kicks (or punches), and hiccups! I'll miss my perfectly shaped belly bump and my excuse to cry for no reason (lol not really)!!

But then again who am I kidding... I can't wait to see & kiss my baby girl. I can 't wait for this crazy heartburn to end and to wear my "real" clothes again!! I can't wait to stop seeing my toilet 5 times per night! So I guess it's one of those things I'm ready for but not just yet!!! I'll TRY to enjoy my last four weeks and hope that gets me through the heartburn, beaten from the inside out, the itchy belly, the nausea, oh and the wobbling through the stores as I finish my shopping, and all that good stuff!!

On another note, David and I just finished our childbirth classes tonight! It was a nice little refresher for us since be didn't actually plan on having another child after we had Myah! We got some relaxing time together if nothing else! The baby kept moving to Daddy during the class... like she wanted him to hold her!! Silly girl!!!

During one of our breaks I got up, to go potty of course! The childbirth instructor then patted (or poked) at my belly and told me I'd be having the baby soon. That she is almost always right about it! I replied, I hope not because I still have another month to go!! She gave me a smirk like yeah right lady! It makes me wonder if I am really getting that big! I've been thinking this is going to be my smallest baby of the three but everyone (other than David) thinks I'm huge and ready to pop any day now!! I admit I feel like it some times! Especially since it hurts to sit up and it also hurts to lay down! Pretty much It feels like the baby has now taken over my whole body from my rib cage to down & out!

Despite the lack of room, The baby has been moving like crazy still! I have managed to catch some on video clips of her moving and will upload them soon as I download them to my computer! It's crazy to see my belly moving around like it does!! She is a very strong little girl!!!

Oh Christmas Tree

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

The kids went to church tonight. So David and I decided we would put up the Christmas tree together year all by our self! It was a nice & peaceful. David made us a Christmas CD to listen to and hot chocolate to have as we decorated the tree! My belly kept getting on the way so David had to do alot of the work!!

Usually at least one of the kids helps me put up the tree. So to included them, we saved 2 special ornaments for them to hang up when they got back home!

When the kids got home from church they were so excited to see the tree was up and pretty... even lighting the dinning room up!!

It's starting to feel like Christmas now!!

David and I was just talking, It's only 15 days until Christmas... Then another 15 days until the baby's due date! Time is flying... I can't believe I'm going to have another baby in just 31 more days!!!

I feel like I got a lot done today... With getting the tree up... I worked on the baby's area of the room... and I just about finished washing all her little clothes and started packing some of her things for the hospital!!

Evening Ramblings

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

I had good experiences breastfeeding in the past. I plan on breastfeeding again this time also!

Nowadays, they make these things called Nursing Covers. They cover the baby & mommy during public feedings! I so needed something like that when I was breastfeeding C & M!

You know, I just have to have one!!

I just got my nursing cover in the mail today! I ordered one online. I was not the one I really wanted but I won it on ebay for $3.00... So a deal that couldn't be beat! Some sell for as much as $50!! So I'm pretty happy with it!

After looking at it... I'm like, I could make these. If other people can sell em so... SO CAN I!! LOL Well see about that!! Computers are more of my "thing"!!!

Which reminds me, I think I'm going to make the baby's birth announcements myself!!

Other than that...

I'm really tired and full of energy all at the same time. Is that possible!? I'm very sore... And I do not like bending over to pick things up! David tells me to use my monkey feet!! I waddle when I walk. And I can no longer cross my legs! I'm so ready to have the baby and get this done with but I'm still trying to enjoy the days of not having a baby around! Boy I don't know what I want anymore!!

I've been looking in the name book again! And crossing off names that I once liked. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing just yet! I have to have David give my list a looksy!!

I do know that we are going for something with the same style as Myah's name!

  • Trendy but not too trendy.
  • Unique in some sort of way.
  • Common name but not over used.
  • And just sounds & feels right!
  • And something that will sound as beautiful as Myah's name!!
This time, I'm even picking out a "backup name" just in case our baby girl is a boy! I'm scared, our baby girl is really strong & tough!!!

35 Week Update

Monday, December 8, 2008

I'm 35 weeks (8 Months) now! Just FIVE more weeks to go now!!!

Today we had a Dr. appointment. Boy were they behind, we waited over an hour just to get in! The baby was kicking and moving all around in the waiting room full of people! I felt alittle embarrassed! My shirt was moving all around by it's self!! LOL! Maybe it was just me but I felt like everyone was looking at my shirt waving around like a big flag in the wind!

The apt went well though. I did not gain ANY weight this time. It concerned and shocked me since I had been eating like crazy! But the doc said things looked good!

I got an exam done this time for a test and to check to see the baby's position. Eek I hate that part! The good news is she is HEAD DOWN!! Which makes me happy!!! But he said she was not yet down far enough to ensure she stays that way. So she could do a flip again!

So now I am afraid to do anything! I don't want her to flip again!!

We also started our birthing classes tonight! Since I already had 2 kids it boring and I feel like I could teach the classes myself BUT the give David & I some much needed one on one baby time. Plus they help me remember how to relax! Something so simple seems so hard when you have kids at home stressing you out!!

It's was really hard to practice the relaxing techniques when the baby is flipping out and trying to reach for daddy (yes from inside the womb)!! Then when she finally got done playing with Daddy while he was helping me practice... She started to hiccup!! Go figure!

This baby is something else! Even though I haven't seen her, I feel like I already know her!! She likes to get all of her attention! Being the 3rd baby she will defiantly need to know how to do that! She will fit in well with us!!

Evening At The Hospital

Thursday, December 4, 2008

Week 34

This week, I had some concerns with the baby. I figured it was nothing but I was giving a red flag. The baby had only been squirming for the last 2 days and absolutely no kicks. Which is not normal for her!! It was major decrees in how often she usually moves!!

I ended up calling my OB just to make sure she was OK and easy our minds!

They had me do a "Kick Count" for 15 minutes. Which is where you drink something like orange juice and lay on your left side for 15 minutes. I had to count every movement I felt during this time. My count was ONE (with one hiccup)....

So my doctor sent me to Labor & Delivery to get a Non-Stress Test and get hooked up to the monitors for a while! We took the long drive to the hospital. On the bright side, Homer got some practice driving me to the hospital!!

Wouldn't you know... she was so excited when we got there she was moving all around! Thankfully she is fine!! But she sure did make mommy look like a fool!!!

They were nice at the hospital and said I did the right thing by coming in. And if it happens again I should also come in because it's better to be safe than sorry!!!

I did also find out for sure she is still breech..... ahhhh!! That is so stressing me out!!

FLIP OVER ALREADY!!

32 Weeks

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

It's hard to believe that in 8 weeks (maybe less) I will have my baby girl in my arms! I defiantly "feel" pregnant. I'm really tired these days and it's getting really hard to move around... Things like sitting, bending over, walking through a store... is now hard for me to do!

The baby currently is breech. So I've been making LOTS of trips to the restroom (even at night) due to the new location of baby girls feet!

She is still "Baby Girl"! We have crossed off several names off my "maybe" list but have not pick THE name yet! We have her last name, lol, if that helps!!

CribmobileI thought I would share what her bed looks like. It's been put together for a while now. It wasn't easy to get this one together but now that it's all done I love the way it looks!! I bough the crib set I wanted from eBAY several weeks ago. It's a discounted model made by Amy Coe. It's hard to tell in the small photos but the colors are pink & brown!

Our daughter, Lisa, is still using the crib mattress so it's not yet in the crib! She will be moving to her "Big Girl" bed for her birthday or Christmas!

Baby Shower

Friday, November 7, 2008

I would like to thank everyone for coming to my baby shower and for all the wonderful gifts that everyone got for our little one!!

I had a great time! It was really nice getting to see some of you I had not seen in sometime!! I am so thankful I have such a caring and supportive family! We can not wait until we can introduce you to our little girl!

We had so many babies at the shower! I'm glad that they all got to come! I wish that I would have though sooner to get them all in the same picture!!

Can you believe that we will have FIVE babies in our family at the same time (all just over a year old or less)!? And all of them are little girls!! I guess we are just waiting on my little one now!!

What to do with myself...

Friday, October 24, 2008

Well Myah just started 1/2 day pre-school, 4 days a week.

Since she was born I have always stayed home with her. It had it's ups and downs but she really needs this, in order to get ready for Kindergarten next year!! She is doing GREAT! Her teacher said she adjusted well and she is very vocal and involved!! She gets excited to go and talks about her day... She loves doing her "homework" and gets us all involved in helping her with it!! I'm proud of her!!!!

The weirdest part of the whole thing is getting a few hours alone, to myself! It's weird! I don't know what to do. The house is quite. I can hear myself think. I'm calm and relaxed for the first time in 4 years!!! It's nice, now I have to try not to get used to this because in a few months I will have a newborn and the process will start all over again!!

The Name Game

Not one but TWO baby name dictionary's and the numerous websites that are available to us... you would think that we would have picked out a name by now, right?!

Think again!!

Our little girl is still nameless! It's hard thinking of a name that will be part of someone the rest of there life!!

I'm my opinion, a little girl's name should be very pretty. It should also fit them as a child and adult!! Myah's (Our Daughter) name is pretty. People always complement us on her name! So how will we ever think of a name as beautiful as hers?

Believe it or not, David actually was the one who thought of Myah's name!! Now I joke with David that he is holding back on me this time... trying to give me a chance to name this one since he named Myah!! He denies this claim though!! LOL

I'm sure the name will come to us when we hear it!! Until then I guess she is still just "Baby Girl"!!

28 Weeks

Monday, October 20, 2008

I am now in my 3rd trimester. The count down is on now!! My belly is differently starting to show. Strangers now comment on it and ask questions about when I'm due! It seems as if I just POPPED out all of a sudden because I find myself not allowing the belly enough clearance room! Oops, I'm always bumping into something!!!

All of the last trimester discomforts have kicked in so I have a lot to complain about now days! I'm moody, I feel like crying, I can't eat much at a time (a fry fills me up), I have horrible heartburn (This child better have hair!), my hips hurt, my back hurts, I can't bend, I can't walk, I can't stand to stand, I can't get comfortable, and this baby kicks way too hard!!

I guess other than that, baby and I are doing quite well!! I actually enjoy when she is (nicely) kicking and moving around! Being pregnant and feeling your child move is incredible! I know this isn't my 1st but the experience is still the same as the first! When she kicks it's like she's saying, "Hey Mommy, I'm in here, I'm healthy, and I'm growing! I'll see you soon!" She is very strong... In fact I think she may kick the hardest of the three kids! And that says alot because Caleb was pretty strong himself!!

Anyway, the photo is current! I have been having David take a photo of my belly every week since week 15! I know I don't always look my best now days but it's nice to look back and remember things!! I'm thinking, I would like to get a professional photo taken when I'm full term!!
